How They Work Together
SOLAR PANELS
Solar cells are primarily made from silicon. Exposure to light changes silicon's electrical characteristics, this generates an electrical current. Solar Panels are made by laying out a grid of these cells on a protective back-sheet and covering them with glass on the front. The purpose of the solar panel is to capture the energy for the sun, which is converted into electricity.
LITHIUM BATTERIES
After the solar panels capture and convert the energy to electricity it needs to be stored. Lithium batteries store the energy generated from the solar panels.
